He started activity as a member of art unit
"Ressentiment" during studying at IAMAS, Gifu,
and participated n_ext: New Generation of Media
Artists in ICC (2004), Yokohama Triennale 2005
and so on. He is processing digital technology at
an information level of the picture while doing
it with daily subjects. And he sends it back to
real exhibition space. This project could be very
interesting approach to find out where and how the
immaterial digital information, unlike paintings
or sculptures, could manage to be established as
piece of work. Also, this could be challenging one
to exhibit the high/ low-tech materials and daily
commodities together to make people think about
technology and reality through them.

This exhibition shows the composition of the
person who can be seen in a background and the
enlarged insect, which is flying in the air. And
tension that is created between them shows the
sound, which is processed common words, and the
space, which is catabolized by the image with
low-tech device, with fresh images. Our curiosity
is endless. How the intangible audio and visual
information can establish the vigilant space? As
it had been prominently emerged in previous
exhibition at Media City, Seoul, in the
traditional Media Art field, the direction to be
taken and the theme are vanishing. At the same
time, new expression, which has never been tried
before, can be seen beyond the field of Media Art
with a new approach by the new generation that
high technology became common. From long ago,
technology has been producing the new works as
equal value as (or with) the ideas.
