Biography
アキラ・ザ・ハスラー Cloud Man (each/together) 2017-2019 FRP、アクリル、木、鉄 240x239x71cm
アキラ・ザ・ハスラーは1969年、東京都生まれ。1995年、京都市立芸術大学大学院絵画研究科卒業。学生時代からAPP（エイズ・ポスター・プロジェクト）の活動などを通してアクティビストとしても活動。その後もエイズ、セクシャリティ、原発、人種差別等、様々な社会問題をテーマに作品を制作。近年の展覧会に「STREET JUSTICE: Art, Sound and Power」Galaxy銀河系、東京（2018年）、「リボーンアート・フェスティバル2017」石巻市、宮城（2017年）、「ラヴズ・ボディー－生と性を巡る表現」東京都写真美術館、東京（2010年）など。主な収蔵先にCollection Lambert、ワタリウム美術館など。
