※Nearby trees were indiscriminately cut down for construction, mine reinforcement, steam engines, and fuel for smelting. Additionally, sulphur dioxide gas emitted from the smelting factory killed the trees. A mountain shrine was built to appease the anger of the gods.
※建築物や坑内の補強、蒸気機関や精錬用の燃料として近隣の樹木をあたり構わず伐採。さらに精錬工場から出る亜硫酸ガスが樹木を枯らした。山神社を建立しの神の怒りを鎮めようとした。
