Hilmi Johandi Landscapes & Paradise (III) 2019 Oil on linen 152 x 122 cm
希尔米·乔汉迪主要以绘画的形式创作，探索与构架、碎片（解构）和压缩（重建）领域相关的新媒体干预。他的探索设定在新加坡背景下所感知到的熟悉和象征性的主题范围内。他将电影、档案影像和照片并合成为一幅碎片化的蒙太奇画面，暗示着快速发展所带来的社会影响，以及那些拥抱现代化的人们其个人欲望与轻蔑。
希尔米·乔汉迪，1987年出生于新加坡。他主要以绘画的形式创作，探索与构架、碎片（解构）和压缩（重建）领域相关的新媒体干预。希尔米是2017年NAC艺术奖学金（研究生）、2017年拉萨尔奖学金和吴作栋青年承诺奖的获奖者。他的近期个展包括“风景与天堂：泳池景观”，大田秀则画廊，东京（2021）、“舞台艺术：风景与天堂”，大田秀则画廊，新加坡（2019）、Painting Archives”, Rumah Lukis, 吉隆坡（2019）、“An Exposition”，President’s Young Talents 2018 Exhibition，新加坡美术馆，新加坡（2018）、“黄昏至黎明|Fajar ke Senja”，Galerie Steph|OCBC Art Space, 新加坡（2014）。近年参加的群展包括：“Singapore Deviation: Wander with Art Through the Rail Corridor”, 铁道走廊，新加坡（2023）、“Inside the Wild Cube”，Progressive Disintegrations，新加坡（2022）、Art Way ASEAN Way”, 艺术磨坊宋卡艺术中心，宋卡 (2017)。
